The Role

The Salesforce Platform Developer will lead the ongoing development of our Salesforce CRM and Salesforce Communities deployment, including designing custom components, themes and customizing CSS. The successful candidate will have a record of success in improving processes and adoption using the platform, designing custom components and designing automated workflows.  

The Salesforce Platform Developer should be experienced in developing Visual Force or Lighting Pages, components and Flows with Apex.  

The Salesforce Platform Developer will work closely with company executives, organizational units, and subject matter experts to identify develop and deploy new business processes.  This is a contract position based in our office in Austin, TX.

 Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Develop custom Salesforce Communities platform 
  • Building and configuring flows, integrating them with custom components
  • Unit testing and code coverage
  • Working between environment and managing changes, versioning and deployment between environments
  • Participate in evaluation, scope and completion of new development requests.


  • Minimum three years of experience as a Developer
  • Salesforce Communities experience highly preferred
  • Sales Cloud, Service Cloud and Developer certifications preferred
  • Visual Force development experience 
  • Apex Code development experience
  • Proven ability to design and implement new processes and facilitate user adoption.
  • Experience with Salesforce Lightning experience
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Previous experience working in a SCRUM or agile environment preferred
  • Sound logic and reasoning
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
